WHAT ARE THE USES OF LAMIVUDINE, TENOFOVIR and EFAVIRENZ TABLETS ?

Lamivudine indicated as part of antiretroviral combination therapy for the treatment of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) infected. Tenofovir is used in combination with other antiviral drugs in the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infections. Efavirenz is used in combination with other medications for the treatment of human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection.

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY VONADAY TABLETS ?

Lamivudine belongs to a class of medication called nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. It decreases the amount of virus (HIV and hepatitis) in the blood. It also increases the number of infection fighting cells in the body. Tenofovir is an antiviral drug belonging to class nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NRTIs). Efavirenz belongs to a class of antiretroviral medications called non-nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors (NNRTIs). It inhibits the replication of HIV, thereby reducing the amount of the virus in the blood.
